A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection that can occur in any part of the urinary system. The most common cause of UTIs is the bacteria Escherichia coli (E. coli) but it can be caused by other bacteria as well. Typically, women are at greater risk of developing UTIs with approximately fifty to sixty percent experiencing one in their lifetime. Common symptoms involve persistent urge to urinate, pelvic pain, and a burning sensation when urinating. UTIs are treated with antibiotics, but many women still experience symptoms during the first few days of treatment leading them to buy AZO.
What is AZO?
AZO is an over-the-counter brand mostly known for their urinary pain relief products. It contains the active ingredient, phenazopyridine hydrochloride, which helps to relieve pain, burning, urgency, and frequency during a UTI. However, they also offer a variety of items to help with bladder, hormonal, yeast, and vaginal health.
Are ingredients in AZO vegan friendly?
After speaking with a representative from AZO, we are pleased to say they have multiple vegan-friendly products! These include:

Active ingredient: Phenazopyridine Hydrochloride 99.5 mg

Active ingredient: Phenazopyridine hydrochloride 95 mg
