Why We Rebranded: From VeganMed to Pill Clarity

VeganMed is now Pill Clarity.

When we launched VeganMed, our mission was clear: to shed light on the hidden animal-derived ingredients found in medications. At the time, the name fit perfectly.

Today, we recognize that the challenge is even greater. Beyond animal-derived components, there is a widespread lack of transparency around all medication ingredients — from the top 10 food allergens to banned additives like Red Dye No. 3.

Our vision has evolved: to become your trusted source for transparent medication information.

So, why the name change?

We’re still the same company, powered by the same passionate team — and proudly rooted in the mission that brought us here. But we realized our name needed to reflect the full scope of who we serve and the clarity we stand for.

What’s not changing:

• We’re still owned and operated by VeganMed.

• We still stand for ingredient transparency and ethical access to healthcare

• We’re still helping allergy communities (like Alpha-gal), vegans/vegetarians, religious populations, and healthcare providers make informed choices.

• And we’re still offering our free medical information service and trusted product marketplace.

  
  

If you still call us VeganMed, that’s okay. And if you email us at @veganmed.org, your message will absolutely still reach us. Nothing will get lost. 

We’re simply growing into a name we hope will feel just as familiar in time, one that puts our mission of transparency right at the center.

What is changing:

• A more accessible brand identity that helps us reach more patients, providers, and institutions.
